First party data tracking for Shopify stores

The tracking layer is yours, not rented: a first party pixel with a server side leg, deduplicated so one sale reads as one sale in every channel that needs to know about it.

First party data tracking for Shopify stores

What first party tracking means in practice

Zyberon installs a pixel that belongs to your store and pairs it with a server side leg, so every important event is captured twice: once in the visitor's browser and once from your server through the Conversions API. When the browser copy is blocked by an ad blocker or a privacy setting, the server copy still arrives.

The two copies are deduplicated before anything is forwarded, so one purchase reads as exactly one purchase in every destination. That single discipline is what most tracking setups get wrong, and it is why their numbers drift apart.

How setup works

A guided onboarding walks you through it: connect your Shopify store, connect your Meta account, and activate the pixel. Zyberon also scans your store for pixels that are already installed, so you can see what is currently firing before you decide what stays.

Once live, the Connections tab becomes your control room. It shows every pixel configuration, your Meta and Klaviyo connections, and a rolling health readout of the last day: events sent, failed, pending and skipped, with the delivery rate up front. If something breaks, you see it here first, not in a quiet drop in your ad performance three days later.

Sales attribution you can interrogate

The Sales Attribution tab puts three versions of the same window side by side: what Zyberon measured, what Shopify recorded, and what Meta reports. Disagreement is shown rather than smoothed over, because a number you cannot compare is a number you cannot trust.

You can break results down by campaign, ad set or individual ad, and every attributed row shows the signal behind it: Zyberon's own tracking parameters, standard UTMs, or a click identifier. When a sale is attributed, you can see why.

Data accuracy and match quality, measured, not assumed

The Data Accuracy tab reconciles the browser leg against the server leg event by event, with a coverage figure per event type. It distinguishes real loss from privacy driven gaps, so you know whether a shortfall is a problem to fix or a browser doing what browsers now do. Internal traffic and noise are filtered out along the way, so your own team and bots do not inflate the numbers your decisions rest on.

Zyberon also reads Meta's own Event Match Quality score live, directly on the screen that produces it. The parameters Meta grades are the same ones this feature spends its life filling, so you can watch the score respond instead of hunting for it in an external events manager.

A workflow a merchant will recognise

A merchant notices Meta claims more purchases than Shopify recorded. Instead of guessing, they open Sales Attribution and see the three counts side by side, then check the signal column and find a set of orders attributed only by a click identifier from days earlier. The overcount now has an explanation.

They check Data Accuracy next: browser coverage on the purchase event is healthy, the server leg is delivering, and Event Match Quality is strong. The conclusion is that their tracking is fine and Meta's attribution window is generous, so they judge the campaign on Zyberon's measured figure instead of pausing an ad set that was working.

How tracking feeds the rest of Zyberon

Clean, deduplicated events are forwarded to Meta for ad optimisation and to Klaviyo for email flows, from the same stream, so your ad platform and your email platform stop arguing about what happened.

Inside the platform, the AI Profit Calculator reads this tool's attribution directly: the ad spend attached to each day and product in your profit reports comes from the events captured here. Better tracking is not just cleaner reporting, it is a more accurate profit number, and every Zyberon tool that reasons about your store starts from data your store owns.

Questions merchants ask

How is this different from a generic pixel or tracking app?

Most tracking apps install a pixel and stop there. Zyberon pairs the pixel with a server side leg, deduplicates the two so one sale is one sale, shows you its measurement next to Shopify's and Meta's instead of a single unverifiable number, and reads Meta's Event Match Quality live so tracking quality is a measured fact rather than a hope.

Will this double count events if I already have a Meta pixel installed?

Setup includes a scan that detects pixels already running on your store, so you can see exactly what is firing before activating Zyberon's. The point of the deduplicated design is that each purchase is reported once, and the Data Accuracy tab lets you verify that instead of taking it on faith.

What happens when visitors use ad blockers or strict privacy settings?

The server side leg still captures the event, because it does not depend on the visitor's browser cooperating. The Data Accuracy tab shows browser versus server coverage per event, and distinguishes privacy driven gaps from genuine loss, so you can see exactly how much the server leg is recovering.

Which platforms receive the events?

Meta, through both the pixel and the Conversions API, and Klaviyo for email flows. Both read from the same deduplicated stream, so your ad reporting and your email triggers agree with each other.

Why do Zyberon, Shopify and Meta show different purchase counts?

Because they measure differently: Meta attributes generously to its own ads, Shopify records every order regardless of source, and Zyberon attributes on the signals it captured. The product shows all three side by side with the signal behind each attribution, so the difference is explainable rather than mysterious.

Is tracking included in the Zyberon plan?

Yes. One subscription covers the full platform, tracking included, with no per event pricing and no separate tracking tier.
