AI profit calculator for Shopify orders

The profit calculator answers the only question that matters at the end of the day: after ads, fees, product cost and shipping, what did this order actually leave behind.

What the profit calculator actually does

It maintains a live profit and loss for your store, built from your real Shopify orders rather than estimates. Revenue comes in from the order sync, ad spend is attributed to the days and products that earned it, payment fees and shipping are deducted, and product costs are subtracted at the item level, leaving net profit and margin as the headline figures.

The overview shows the whole picture at once: revenue, net profit, attributed ad spend, ROAS and profit margin, with a trend over time and a breakdown of where the money went. From there you can drill into any day, month or year and see the same structure at that resolution.

How it works, step by step

First, connect your Shopify store and let the sync pull your orders. The Overview tab populates immediately with revenue and order data, and refreshes itself as new orders land.

Second, load your costs. The Product costs tab is where cost of goods lives: upload a supplier price screenshot, link each price to a product once, and every past and future order of that product is costed correctly. Without this step most profit tools silently count your products as free; Zyberon makes the gap visible instead.

Third, add everything that is not an order. Invoices and business expenses, recurring costs, ad spend rows and bank balances each have their own tab, so software subscriptions and agency fees reduce your reported profit the same way they reduce your real one. The Balance Sheet tab then shows the position all of it adds up to.

Daily, monthly, yearly and per product views

The Daily tab is the operator's view: yesterday's revenue, spend, profit and margin, day by day, with the ability to review and correct an individual day when something external needs recording. Monthly and Yearly roll the same figures up for planning and accounting.

The Products tab answers the question store level numbers hide: which products make money and which only make revenue. Because product costs are linked at the item level, a product that looks like a winner on sales volume can be exposed as a loser on margin before it eats another month of ad budget.

Why the numbers are yours and not generic

Every figure is computed from your store's own data: your orders from your Shopify sync, your supplier's prices from the costs you loaded, your ad spend from your connected accounts, your expenses from your invoices. There are no industry benchmarks standing in for missing inputs and no modelled averages presented as your margin.

The attribution feeding the ad spend column comes from Zyberon's own tracking layer on your store, so the spend attached to a day or a product reflects what your traffic actually did, not a platform's self reported claim.

A day in the life with the profit calculator

A merchant finishes a strong sales day and opens the Daily tab the next morning. Revenue is up, but the day's net profit is thinner than expected. The breakdown shows ad spend climbed faster than revenue, and the Products tab shows one product carried most of the orders at a margin the merchant thought was higher.

They open Product costs, notice the supplier raised prices on the last screenshot they uploaded, and update the linked cost. The margin recalculates, the real problem is confirmed, and the decision to reprice or cut the ad set is made on numbers instead of a feeling.

How it hands off to the rest of Zyberon

The profit calculator reads its attribution from Data Tracking, so improving your tracking quality directly sharpens your profit reports. In the other direction, knowing your true margin per product tells the rest of the platform what a sale is worth, which is the number every ad and pricing decision should start from.

When a product's margin turns out weaker than expected, that finding feeds naturally into Zyberon's research and creative tools: validate a replacement product, or rebuild the offer, with the margin target already known.

Questions merchants ask

How is this different from a generic profit dashboard app?

Two ways. The ad spend it attributes comes from Zyberon's own first party tracking on your store rather than the ad platform's self reported figures, and cost of goods is a first class workflow: you upload a supplier price screenshot and link it once, instead of maintaining a spreadsheet the dashboard trusts blindly.

What if I never filled in cost per item in Shopify?

That is the normal case, and it is exactly what the Product costs tab exists for. Upload your supplier's price list as a screenshot, link each price to its product, and margins are computed correctly from then on. Products without a linked cost are visible as such rather than silently counted as free.

Does it handle expenses that are not orders, like software and agencies?

Yes. Invoices and business expenses have their own tab, recurring costs and ad spend rows and bank balances have theirs, and a balance sheet view shows the combined position. The goal is that the profit shown matches the profit that reaches your bank account.

How current are the numbers?

The overview refreshes itself and shows when it last synced from Shopify. You are looking at your store as it is, not as it was at last night's export.

Is the profit calculator included in the Zyberon plan?

Yes. One subscription covers the entire platform, the profit calculator included. There is no separate analytics tier and no per order fee.
