AI customer support for Shopify stores

Zyberon answers routine store emails on its own. It reads the live Shopify order behind every message, replies in the language the customer wrote in, and hands the rare edge case to you instead of guessing.

How does AI customer support work in Zyberon?

You connect the inbox your customers already write to (Gmail, Microsoft, or any standard IMAP mailbox) and Zyberon polls it for new messages. Each incoming email is read, classified by intent, and matched to the customer and their live Shopify order, so the reply is written against what actually happened: the order status, the items, the shipment.

For routine questions the answer goes out on its own, written in the language the customer used. For anything that needs a decision (a refund above your threshold, an unusual complaint, a message the AI is not confident about) the case lands in your review queue instead, with a drafted reply waiting for your approval.

Every reply carries your company details, your policies, and the answers you have taught it, injected into the prompt on every message. The result reads like your team wrote it, because in a real sense your team did: you set the rules once and Zyberon applies them on every ticket.

What does it replace for a Shopify merchant?

It replaces the daily inbox grind: opening each email, looking up the order in Shopify, checking the tracking, and typing the same three answers about shipping, returns, and order status for the hundredth time. That loop is exactly what the support engine automates, end to end.

It also replaces the tooling you would otherwise stitch together for it: a shared helpdesk inbox, a macro library, a translation step for customers who write in another language, and a spreadsheet for chasing suppliers on late tracking numbers. One workspace covers the whole flow, from the first email to the resolved case.

  • Manual order lookups: every ticket arrives with the live Shopify order already attached
  • Canned macros: replies are written per customer and per order, not pasted from templates
  • Translation overhead: customers get answered in the language they wrote in
  • Separate tracking spreadsheets: shipment status and overdue tracking live inside the same workspace

What is inside the support workspace?

The Overview screen is where you start each day: ticket volume over the last thirty days, the most common customer intents, your automation rate, and a table of recent tickets. Automated Responses shows every reply the AI has already sent, so you can audit what went out without wading through your mail client.

Manual Review holds the cases the AI deliberately did not answer on its own. Returns and Refunds collects actionable return and refund cases in one queue, Address Correction gathers requests to fix a shipping address before dispatch, and the Dispute Manager handles the escalations that need a firmer, structured response.

Order Tracking follows every parcel from the supplier side: how quickly a tracking link was added to each order, where the parcel is now, and which orders are overdue for a tracking number, so you can chase the supplier before the customer has to ask. Analytics breaks down intent distribution and AI accuracy per intent, and surfaces product complaints so a pattern in the inbox becomes a product decision.

Two screens make the AI yours. AI Training seeds a set of core intents when you activate the tool and lets you refine how each one is answered. The Test Environment lets you write in as if you were a customer, in any language, and see exactly what the AI would send before a single real customer does.

Why are the answers specific to my store instead of generic?

Zyberon builds a Brain for your store: a persistent profile of your brand, products, and policies that every tool on the platform draws from. The support engine adds its own layer on top. Your company details, shipping expectations, and return rules are injected into every reply the AI writes, so the answer reflects your actual policy rather than a plausible guess.

The question and answer library in Settings goes further: the answers you write there are injected into every AI prompt, which means a policy you state once (say, how you handle a damaged item) shapes every future reply on that topic. Combined with the live order data behind each ticket, the AI is never answering in the abstract. It is answering this customer, about this order, under your rules.

A day in the inbox with Zyberon

A customer in Germany emails asking where their order is. Zyberon matches the email to the order, sees the parcel is in transit with the carrier, and replies in German with the current status and the tracking link. You never see the ticket unless you go looking for it in Automated Responses.

The same morning, another customer asks for a refund on an item they say arrived broken. That case does not get an automatic reply. It appears in Returns and Refunds with the order attached and a drafted response ready, you approve or adjust it in a few seconds, and the reply goes out. Meanwhile the complaint itself is logged, so if that product keeps arriving broken, Analytics shows you the pattern.

The support engine also feeds the rest of the platform. What customers complain about and ask for is signal the retention tools can act on, and the same Brain that powers your support replies keeps your emails, pages, and ads speaking with one voice.

Does the AI ever act without my approval?

You decide where the line sits. Settings gives you explicit control over when the AI replies automatically versus when it must wait for your review, and the cases that carry real consequences (refunds, returns, disputes, address changes on orders about to ship) are routed to queues where a person confirms the action.

Nothing irreversible happens on its own. The AI drafts, classifies, and answers the routine, and the merchant approves everything that touches money or a shipment. If you want to see how it behaves before trusting it with a single customer, the Test Environment exists for exactly that: ask it anything, in any language, and read the answer it would have sent.

Questions merchants ask

How is this different from a chatbot or a generic helpdesk with AI added on?

A generic assistant answers from a script or a knowledge base and stops at the words. Zyberon reads the live Shopify order behind every email, so it can say where the parcel actually is, whether the address can still be changed, and what your return policy means for this specific order. It also routes the consequential cases (refunds, disputes, address changes) into review queues instead of guessing, which is the difference between automation you audit occasionally and automation you have to babysit.

Which inboxes can I connect?

Gmail, Microsoft accounts, and any standard IMAP mailbox. Zyberon polls the connected inbox for new customer messages, so your customers keep writing to the same address they always have and nothing changes on their side.

What happens when the AI is not sure about an answer?

It does not send one. The case goes to Manual Review with a drafted reply attached, and you approve, edit, or rewrite it. You also set the rules for when the AI may reply automatically at all, so the boundary between automated and reviewed is yours to draw and to move as your trust grows.

Can it reply in my customers' language?

Yes. The AI answers in the language the customer wrote in, and the Test Environment lets you send it a question in any language to check the reply before it ever reaches a real customer.

Can I teach it my store's policies and tone?

Yes, in two places. AI Training seeds a set of core support intents when you activate the tool and lets you refine how each is handled. In Settings you add your company details and a question and answer library, and those are injected into every reply the AI writes, so a policy stated once shapes every future answer.

Is AI customer support included in the Zyberon plan?

Yes. One subscription covers the whole platform, and the support engine is part of it alongside every other tool: the review queues, order tracking, dispute manager, analytics, training, and the test environment. There is no separate seat pricing and no per ticket fee.
